Scholarly Activity DatabaseResearch and Scholarly Activity Committee
VIU recognizes that Scholarly Activity is important to academic excellence,
and is an essential component of the faculty workload. This committee awards
the Research
and Scholarly Activity Funding that enables faculty to participate in
scholarly activity which furthers study and research, and is designed to increase
knowledge in the faculty member's field or fields of expertise, not solely
for maintaining currency.
