Government at all levels plays a significant role in shaping the mandate and operating environment at Vancouver Island University. As key partners in our success, it is important that VIU develop relationships with government at the Municipal, Regional, Provincial, First Nations and Federal levels.

Whether we are developing programs or services, designing new infrastructure plans or seeking support for research initiatives, government's role in our success is a critical one.
