New Online Application System

On implementation of the new online application system, all internal and external applicants who submit their application online will have the added benefit of receiving instant notification that their applications have been received. Applicants will also have the ability to view their application history and the status of the competitions they have applied for.
The closing deadlines will be midnight on the specifed closing date.

You can look forward to applying online for positions through the Employee Portal using your employee number and your Employee Portal password.
When the system changes are implemented, you will be able to access the Employee Portal using Mac computers and web browsers such as Firefox and Safari.

If you have previously applied for positions at Vancouver Island University, on implementation of the new online application system you will be able to access your existing applicant number and a system generated password via email by following the “Forgot Your Password?” process.
First time applicants will be asked to create an applicant record prior to applying for positions. The required information requested will be: email address, surname, first name, postal code, telephone number, and citizenship status. Once your applicant record is completed, you will receive your applicant number and password.
